Staff Bio: Barbara Cilli

Entering her 26th season as the head coach of Bryant University’s womens tennis team, Barbara Cilli stands as the program’s all-time winningest coach, with over 250 career victories. In recent years, she has continued to elevate the Bulldogs on a national level, guiding them to a historic NEC Championship in 2022 as the first-ever No. 4 seed to win the title and leading the program into a new era as an associate member of the Southland Conference. There, she secured Bryant’s first postseason win in the league with a dominant 4-0 victory over Lamar in 2024. In 2025, she guided the Bulldogs back to the NCAA tournament by winning the Ohio Valley Conference and finishing with the highest end of season ranking in Bryant Women’s Tennis history. Under her leadership, Bryant has remained a consistent championship contender, reaching five NEC title matches in the last seven years, while also producing numerous All-Conference standouts and Rookie of the Year honorees. Cilli’s sustained excellence and ability to adapt to new competitive landscapes underscore her lasting impact on the program and collegiate tennis in the Northeast. Coach Cilli works part-time at Rally Point assisting with some of our adult beginner groups throughout the summer.

About Rally Point

Rally Point Racquet Club opened its doors in 1972 with just three courts and no lounge area, founded by a group of friends who saw tennis gaining popularity across the U.S. and wanted to create a place where their community could come together to share in the love of the sport. Their vision quickly took hold, and after early success, the club expanded—adding three more courts and building the indoor space that continues to serve as the heart of the facility today. Over the past 50+ years, Rally Point has grown steadily by listening to and evolving with its most dedicated players and supporters.
