Mike Fontaine is a long-time member of Rally Point Racquet Club who brings dedication and community spirit to both his role on our front desk team and his full-time position at John Hancock. A proud Bryant University graduate and lifelong Rhode Islander, Mike is deeply rooted in the local community and continues to make meaningful contributions both on and off the court. In addition to his work and front desk duties, he serves as a certified tennis official for high-level tournaments and collegiate matches on the weekends, showcasing his deep knowledge and respect for the game. Also an active participant and captain in many of our in-house and USTA leagues, it is easy to see just how deep Mike’s passion for tennis truly goes.
Rally Point Racquet Club opened its doors in 1972 with just three courts and no lounge area, founded by a group of friends who saw tennis gaining popularity across the U.S. and wanted to create a place where their community could come together to share in the love of the sport. Their vision quickly took hold, and after early success, the club expanded—adding three more courts and building the indoor space that continues to serve as the heart of the facility today. Over the past 50+ years, Rally Point has grown steadily by listening to and evolving with its most dedicated players and supporters.
